About Me

My name is Michael (Moish) Tombosky. In 2006, I had the rewarding opportunity to help take care of my dying father as he fought colon cancer for over ten years; in January 2007, he passed away at 64.  After overseeing his care, I was inspired by the hospice ideology and meticulous care for dying patients.

Realizing that I had a deep connection with the elderly, My wife and I opened a caregiving agency in Pittsburgh called Guardian Caregivers in 2010, where I worked as a caregiver, patient advocate, and CEO of our company.  I worked as a caregiver with seniors and their families and implemented my cartooning skills to help communicate effectively with clients.

In 2018 my hometown of Pittsburgh was devastated by a hate crime at the Tree of Life synagogue. I was part of the team responsible for clean-up and Jewish post mortem rituals and helping the community deal with the horrific tragedy and grief.

After the Covid-19 pandemic hit and all normality as we know it was turned on its head, it was time for some change.  At the end of 2020, We sold our house in Pittsburgh, PA, and moved cross country to Henderson, NV.  I have been working as a Rabbi/Chaplain since 2009, and I specialize in helping people identify and deal with their grief and bereavement by coping with the issues causing them distress, anxiety, and stress. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients and look forward to helping you. Get in touch to learn more.
